Wrong council tax band, outside the 6 months, Help please.

I've only just recently thought about looking into my council tax band and I've lived in my property for 7 years.  I never considered I was paying more than almost every other house in my road, it just never occurred to me, until now.   Does anyone know best way to word a letter to the valuations office?  looking back over valuations of mine and others (I've managed to check around 10) all are in a band lower than mine, even those with more bedrooms!

Just say to the VOA, you believe your home is in the wrong CT band and would they please review it. The reason you believe it is wrong is that the following 10 properties (give the addresses) are in a lower band and some have more bedrooms.


Do be aware that there is a possibility that your band may be correct and the others may be wrong and thus the VOA may decide to increase their bands.
