Starting new job and applying for mortgage

I worked for a company from 2014 to 2020. I then then left in May 2020 and rejoined this month (March 2020). I need to apply for a mortgage straight away, how many lenders would accept one pay slip? Does the fact I worked there before help? Thanks

No Steve, previous employment does not help.
Lender's view on this range from working on the employment offer letter, to start date, to first payslip, to first salary banked, out to 3 months pay slips.
