Solaredge battery systems

You all seem to be keen on pylon tech. My question is - are pylontech battery systems compatible with solaredge inverters? And has anyone any opinion on solaredge battery storage?
London. 6.4kwh system, South facing. 16 Hyundai 400kw all black panels w/ optimisers, 6kw Solaredge HD Wave inverter, Solar Iboost with two immersion heaters on one 240l hw tank. Octopus SVT and Outgoing Agile. Ivar 5 Wood Burning Stove. Crap ICE car saving up but hit hard by prices. Two chickens: 1 Light Sussex, 1 Speckled Rock. Omlet walk-in run. Approx 1.5 eggs per day egg generation rate using Marriage's organic layers pellets.

    I looked at SolarEdge for battery but couldn't get any straight answers and it looked like it was going to be expensive.  My installer recommended ignoring the SE PV system altogether. So I now have a separate battery inverter looking after that side of things.  It was good value, the online monitoring suits my needs and I'm very happy with it. 
    Install 28th Nov 15, 3.3kW, (11x300LG), SolarEdge, SW. W Yorks.
    Install 2: Sept 19, 600W SSE
    Solax 6.3kWh battery

    It's in my signature - Solax.  They don't seem popular on these boards but the industry seems to like them.  At the time it was the best value for money I could get hold of.
