Intermediary mortgage calculator

Hi,
I tried both the Santander mortgage calculator and the Santander intermediary mortgage calculator, and the intermediary offered me approximately £14000 more.
I’m not sure why there is such a difference? Or which one is more accurate?

The intermediary one is most accurate. Normally they have more options for outgoings etc than the basic one.1

Be careful.
The Santander intermediary calculator needs correctly input net income based on true tax code and year-to-date figures are later used from payslips to ensure accuracy. If I wanted an idea of affordability I would not use the Santander calculator. I'd only use that when I have a bigger picture of the borrower.I am a mortgage broker.
