long story short

I have lost a CCJ (personally) did a job for a client she said went wrong so judge sided with her. i made an offer of a  monthly figure to pay her back refused and she  wants it back at £300 pcm. which i cannot afford. I have now closed my limited compony and asked to be stuck off. she sent a letter to company's house saying i should of told them that i  have been served a CCJ (not correct as she sued me not the business) The business has no debt or assets

Anyway I am submitting the bankruptcy form tonight as my personal debt has gotten out of hand.

Will her writing to companies house effect my personal  bankruptcy? should I tell her I have submitted the bankruptcy form? sorry my heads all over the place at the moment.

Sounds like it has gotten personal.

If the business has liabilities but no cash or assets then it will not be able to settle its debts.  She would not be able to claim against the business in any case as her CCJ was awarded against you.

If you declare BR personally then she will have to get in line with all your other creditors.  BR is a big step - make sure you get proper advice before going down this route.

Hi, I just wanted to say that if you have spoken to StepChange, that's a big step in the right direction.

StepChange helped me so much when I was at the end of my tether a few years ago. They advised me to apply for a DRO - which is similar to bankruptcy. Speaking from my own experience, they know what they are talking about and they will help you with your application.

As MEM62 says, above, that client will have to get in line behind your other creditors. Good luck.
