in Cutting tax
Hi first time poster. I’m due to complete on my first house possible beginning to mid April. I know I have to have the standard variable energy tariffs as I’m unable to do anything just yet until move in and with the energy cap stuff going on. My query is whether I’ll be too late get a council tax rebate as the seller will probably get that? Any replies would be great.

11. To provide some immediate relief for these rising costs, while targeting those most likely to require support, the government expects billing authorities to provide a £150 one-off payment to a liable council tax payer (or a person who would otherwise be liable where the property is exempt) for every household that occupies a property which meets all of the following criteria on 1 April 2022
