I’m starting this diary to keep me on track with my goal to be debt free. 

I’ve reduced my outgoings as much as possible and am working extra hours to clear the debt as soon as possible. I hope to have around  £1000 a month to overpay.

Thank you. It feels a bit insurmountable at present.
I had wanted to wait until payday but impatiently paid £1000 off the loan today. It saved £1101 in interest which sounds crazy.

I paid £7.97 to cc 2 to take it down to £3500. Trying not to wish away the days until payday, I just so want to feel that being debt free is reachable. 

I had a go at batch cooking this week so there’s nearly two weeks of dinners in the freezer. I must do this more often and see if I can work out the cost per meal.
I’ve put a few things up for sale so hopefully they’ll sell and go towards the debt.
The payment to cc1 comes out in a few days, I’ll be glad to get it under 4k.
