Hope you all have a happy and peaceful one.
I've just been to my eldest's nativity play and it was so wonderful. The children were brilliant. They had even learnt Silent Night in spanish.
Migz have a fantastic Easter and make sure you don't eat all your eggs at once.:EasterBun
Mad you old bat where did you get that fantasic picture from it's purrrrrrrrrrrrrfik!!!
My lil un has her first nativity play tomorrow. She is very proud that she is an angel and 'not just in the choir' (her words).
My Mum and sisters can't come down to Leeds to see it so I am going to pay special attention to whoever has a video camera.... Wonder if they'll give me a copy?
Xmas is going to be hard this year but I just want to get through it and see what next year brings. I'm sure most of you feel the same.
Still - nothing wrong with a budget Xmas! Lil un will still be surrounded by people who love her and she will be having another mini-Xmas with her Dad too, so she'll be ok. We're just trying to figure out how to explain how Santa delivers a few days after he is supposed to...

Oh dear!! I have a confession:o I have to wisper.I cant stand nativity plays:o Didnt like them at all & I have had a Joseph, shepherd ,king ,inn keeper star and a Mary,Angel,Star, shepherd, inn keepers wife (have DD & DS).
Its deep rooted I was made to be a king when I was at school,I had to wear a mums dressing gown and a crown made from card, silver foil and Quality sweet papers:o

But I do understand the pride most normal mother have at this time (while I pray that nither of my 2 get involved in any school play:eek: ) so have a wonderful day watching your little jem shine and being beautiful.
Christmas will not be measured in how many gifts she gets but in how much love & time she shares with you.Your gift of love is more valuble to her small perfect hart than anything money can buy.
In our house Santa only brings whats in the stocking (lots of small gifts) mum & dad give the rest if your daughter knows this it makes sence that some of the gifts come a bit later.
Ok after that Id better go & join the bad mothers club:o :rotfl: :rotfl:Some of the best lessons we ever learn,we learn from our mistakes and failures.the error of the past is the success and wisdom of the future. :j0 -
