Sweetener-free diluting juice

Ever since the sugar tax was introduced it has been hard to find sweetener-free diluting juice without buying the premium brands like belvoir for £3 a bottle. Are there any cheaper alternatives out there?

    Purple ribena?

Or make your own!  My late nan used to make homemade lemonade which we diluted like squash, lush and all you need is citric acid, sugar, oranges and lemons.

All varieties of Ribena contain sweeteners now (the "original" ones contain sugar and sweeteners).

Waitrose and M&S both sell "high juice" squash without sweeteners at £1.50 for 1litre.  You need to be careful as the "no added sugar" and regular varieties are often mixed together on the shelf, so double-check the ingredients on the bottle you pick up!

I don't think you'll get anything cheaper than that, due to the sugar levy.

I think they all have sweetener in to bring the sugar under the limit for the sugar tax.
As above only option would be the high juice ones as they have extra juice so don’t need as much sugar.

These high juices sound like the best bet so far, thank you!

I would suggest looking for diluted no added sugar organic juice drinks from the likes of HiPP or flavoured waters.
