Help with Starter checklist form please!

I've just accepted a new job, before they send a contract over via DocuSign they asked me to provide some details (address, bank details, picture of my passport) one of the things they asked me to complete was a new starter checklist form.
I feel a bit stupid but I'm unsure what employee statement to choose!
It's unlikely I will be starting before April 6th because I have a two month notice period and I haven't yet got a confirmed exit date from my current job, the new company said they will amend the contract once I get a fixed date so for now for the employment start date I'm putting early May (The day after my notice period ends)
I don't get any benefits or allowances so I do pick option C? That option makes it sound like this will be my second job which won't be the case.
I'm not allowed to post links on this forum yet so here is a picture of the section of the form, it's called Starter-checklist_English_2021_2022.pdf and can be found on gov.uk

A & B say to NOT choose them if you are in receipt of benefits but C says: Choose this statement if: • you have another job and/or • you’re in receipt of a State, Works or Private Pension. On that basis I'd say DON'T pick C.
B states; Since 6 April I have had another job but I do not have a P45. This sounds more like what you are describing as you don't yet have a P45.
Others may have different opinions. Any reason why you can't ask the employer?I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on Debt Free Wannabe and Old Style Money Saving boards. Surely B is the correct statement, if you won't have left your current employer until after 6 April? If you have a P45 by the time you start the new job, then you hand that over and they use that instead of the new starter form.Googling on your question might have been both quicker and easier, if you're only after simple facts rather than opinions!0

If you're expecting to receive a payment from your current employer AFTER 6th April then it's definitely B. As it would be if you expecting to start later this month.Signature removed for peace of mind0

With option B it's the And / Or bit that's confusing me because I don't get any of those allowances or benefits so why is that the correct one to pick?
Is it because I'm thinking like a programmer? I'm assuming it's saying
"Since April 6th I've had another job, I don't have a P45 and I receive one of these benefits"0 -
You're misinterpreting the AND / OR.
So B would be correct if
you hadn't had a job since April, BUT you had had a taxable benefit,
OR
You'd had a job AND a taxable benefit
And B is correct because you've had a job BUT NOT a taxable benefit.Signature removed for peace of mind0 -
Thanks for the help, I've submitted it with option B1
