  • i requested a CCA  4 and a half years ago and im still waiting. no payments made, wonder if theyre gonna magically produce it within 6 years now?

    Another point to highlight, as mentioned by Django above, is that when you send off the CCA requests you stop making any further payments until they produce the requisite documentation.  This enables you to save even more towards any F&F offers down the line.

    I note you say you want this dealt with quickly, but after 16 years on a DMP, what's the rush?  Is it because the funds (£10k) are time limited?

    Whether you get a good and/or quick result will be down to how motivated the DCAs are to get what they can and close the account and, as has been said, it's a process that can take a while whether you decide to send off CCAs or not.

    As a rule, sending CCAs are a good starting point and if an account proves to be UE - that's a good foundation for decent settlement figures.
