If you really need to get a thread removed, you do not need to PM a BG. Just set the Closing Date field to a date in the past (e.g. yesterday), the thread will get set to Closed and it will get moved to Game Over the following day.Bob4 -
@BootsMullery
Have changed url.
In the past, in order to delete a post, I have changed the date (as suggested). However, I have been told to ask a board guide to delete.1 -
I have asked the question and been advised by a BG that they are not able to delete posts, they can only move them to Game Over. In my opinion, the date changing is simpler and achieves the same end. Who "told" you to ask a board guide to delete, presumably not a BG?libra10 said:@BootsMullery

Hi all!
If you think a thread needs removing, please do let us know at forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com and we can take a look at it.
All the best,
