EDF "Deemed" Tariff, charged more than the Price Cap

Options
Hello Everyone
I am currently on a "Deemed" Tariff, something which I though was for Buisness users only but maybe not.
However when I view my Tariff details they are significantly higher than the current or future price cap

Elec     29.92p per kWh
            57.79P per day

Gas     7.875p per kWh
            32.03 per day

I have yet to see these rates charged on a bill, just wonder why they are so high, I would ask EDF but they are so busy I cannot get through.

Thanks

Those are the prices from April 1st, not the current rates.
They are within the new cap which starts from that date.

Also they look like "standard credit" rates for cash/cheque payment in arrears, not DD rates which are cheaper.

Rates vary with where you live as per the link @Gerry1 posted for you above, and as in the links in @QrizB's signature.
  • Lowtidesurf, I’m on the same tarrif and have been puzzling over this for a few days. It definitely looked like I was currently paying a higher rate than the current cap. If you look at your actual bill though (you can find it on the app) it will show what rates you’re actually being charged - mine is less than the cap.

    I hope that helps
