I got the 40" and excellent tv. I got a stand from them too. Got both for about £650 ish including cashback of £25 via Quidco0

If you google the model numbers of both TVs, you get the codes for Dixons and Pixmania.0

It says that the Samsung 40" isn't flat screen and can't display 16:9 (widescreen)
This is wrong, isn't it?0 -

Follow your link, scroll down a bit to the link 'View Technical Specifications'.
It must be wrong, but I just want to make sure.0 -
They've put the price of the 32 inch tv up, it was £492 two days ago. Been under £500 for months. Is this so it can then go back down in price for the sales?0

Hi
I ordered the SAMSUNG LE26R88BD 26" HD Ready digital LCD TV yesterday from Dixons £403.00 less 5% from code on Google & went through Quidco.
I now have to wait for an e-mail which may take 2 days to confirm whether it is available
I hope the e-mail comes soon if it is not available I will have to start looking again

I can't believe these tv's have held their price so much!!!!
I only paid £560 for the 32" model 18mths ago, although it was heavily discounted with Dixons codes
PS Just be aware that you will need to get the circuit board for freeview replaced as it's common knowledge this will fail within 12mths but should be covered under guarantee if your tv is still in production. Getting harder for them to cover it though as it's cost them 1000's so far and I struggled to get them replace the panel on my 2nd set.“You can please some of the people some of the time, all of the people some of the time, some of the people all of the time, but you can never please all of the people all of the time.”0
