Moggie, decided that she'd like to use my leather chair as a Cat Tree...

Needless to say, now covered in scratches -it's one of these in Espresso

All I can think of is some sort of leather polish (is it called dubbin?), or a strategically positioned throw if all else fails.

And wellington boots for the cat!

Prudent

Cats can be such a nightmare with sofas. When I got my two last year as kittens I had an old suite. I replaced it January of this year and was aware that there were some scratches on the front. When we fully pulled it out, the back was in shreds!

Have you thought of claimimg on the house insurance as it sounds like an expensive sofa? I didn't try because my suite was at the end of its life anyway.
