Hello everyone, I am looking for some advice about Stamp Duty refunds.
I have just bought a family home with my wife. We paid 8% Stamp duty as we both own separate properties that we rent out.
We now live in the house that we just bought but previously to that, we lived in rented accommodation.

Do we qualify for a stamp duty refund as our ‘Main Residence’ was previously a rental property or does this new house count as a ‘Second home’ because we own rental properties?
