in Cutting tax
Hi,
We live in Scotland and my partner has a few airline pensions. One of them is £1332 a year with a tax code of S26T/0 so is taxed £16.91 a month. Why? She seems to think its to do with it being based in IoM. Is this correct?
Cheers
G

Maybe you could tell us why you think it's wrong?
Tax code S26T is almost certainly allowing £260 (actually anywhere from £260-269) of her tax code allowances to this source of income.
Will the rest of her tax code allowances (usually at least £11,310, often £12,570) be used by her other pensions, including the State Pension if she receives it.
