  • Ok I have just completed the survey.It is easy and quick no name no pack drill style.Please contribute we could make a diffrence to some attitudes towards debt and the effect it has on those who struggle and suffer.

    Well... been and done it too... very odd sitting this side of BR looking back at how bad things were and though they are still not good, made me realise I am much better than I was a few months ago!!

  • It is strange looking back and evaluating how much debt affected my life,it became such an all consuming monster not just affecting me but OH,children and work.Sadly it poisons so much.
    The more people share their burden BR & DFW the better it will be.

  • done the survey if felt wierd to remember how it was for me debt nearly killed me but now after br i feel normal and will never ever get in debt again

  • Did the survey yesterday. Quite strange for me. If it helps though...
    All comments made and advice given are my own opinions and do not represent the views or advice of any debt advice organisation.

    Current balance: approx £17500 including Tax Credit Overpayment :cry:

    Estimated DFD: never - deficit budget. Cheers HMRC! :mad:

  • I have just completed the survery, thanks for bringing this to everyones attention as mental illness was one of the main reasons for my bankruptcy. Please, please complete the survey as it is essential that people realise how mental illness can effect your bank (credit card, loans......) balance :rolleyes:

    Thankfully am much better now & bankruptcy will be over in Feb :T
  • Thanks Charlies30,I agree the effect of debt on our mental health is overlooked and how people who suffer struggle is also.
    So the more of us who fill this in the better.
    Mind is a charity dealing with all forms of mental illness and are very active in providing support and information for those in need as well as their family and freinds .
