I don't think I'm dodgy..! No debts and a fair pay rise recently but nothing remarkable. I've been renting over the past few years and have changed address 4 times over the past 7 years, though I was told that shouldn't be a problem as it's pretty typical for people in my age group.
If you don't mind me asking, how long in your experience does it take for the review to be completed? Or is it very variable?

Nationwide Head Office pulled mortgage app for review - anyone else experienced this?

I submitted a mortgage application to Nationwide two weeks ago but have just been informed that the case has been 'pulled for review' by their Head Office. As a result, the entire application has been paused while the mortgage team wait to hear back from the Head Office. My contact in the mortgage team says that they have no way to get in touch with the Head Office for an update/to find out why it's been pulled and that they have no idea around timescales for resolution.
Our sellers are keen to get things moving so I'm worried I'm going to lose my new home if the delays continue.
Has anyone else experienced this, and if so, how long did it take to hear back from Head Office?
Any help would be much appreciated.

My experience when Nationwide do this, there is normally a reason for it.
Have you had a significant pay rise? Change of address? Live(ed) with someone dodgy? Are you dodgy? Have you cleared a lot of debt recently? There is normally something that sets it off, thats nothing to worry about unless you are dodgy but they just want to probably check everything a little more thoroughly.I am a Mortgage AdviserYou should note that this site doesn't check my status as a mortgage adviser, so you need to take my word for it.
