Tackling Gambling Stigma - we need your help

Hello there,

I'm Liz, a researcher at Tackling Gambling stigma - a not-for-profit organisation. 

Tackling Gambling Stigma was set up with the aim of reducing the stigma and discrimination related to gambling harm. We exist to support the removal of shame and to aid the recovery of those affected and bring about change to prevent harm in the future. We want to do this by sharing the real-life stories of those with lived experience and experts by experience (EbEs), bringing this together using our specialised research tools. 

Have you experienced harm from gambling? No matter whether that harm was caused by your own gambling or that of someone you know or how big or small an impact it had, your story can make a difference. If your life has been negatively affected by gambling, we want to hear from you. Taking part in an interview could help other people like you. 

The research will be carried out as a one-to-one interview over a video or telephone call, lasting about an hour with an experienced interviewer, and everything you share will be kept strictly confidential. After the interview, you will be in control of how your story is used, whether that be through quotes, or audio or video clips. You do not have to use your real first name and you can choose to remain anonymous.
