in Cutting tax
Due to the red weather warning we have been moved to remote learning today for school. Can I claim for tax as previously Martin Lewis mentioned if you work 1 day from home you can calim for this? Not sure if it's different to covid as this is weather related. Thanks

Martin Lewis's advice related to working from home due to coronavirus. See https://blog.moneysavingexpert.com/2020/04/martin-lewis--working-from-home-due-to-coronavirus--claim-p6-wk-/
The microservice asks whether you are working from home due to coronavirus, but does not preclude you from continuing with your claim if you answer "no" to that question. See https://www.gov.uk/tax-relief-for-employees/working-at-home
Was there no time in 2021/22 that you were required to work from home due to coronavirus restrictions?0 -
Yes I claimed for last year and had tax code changed. But nothing since April this year, today is the 1st day we have been told to work from home due to the weather issues.0

The important paragraph from HMRC: Note ‘have to’ and ‘regular basis’
‘You may be able to claim tax relief for additional household costs if you have to work at home on a regular basis, either for all or part of the week. This includes if you have to work from home because of coronavirus (COVID-19)’.
