Unable to claim working at home

Hi all, I have worked from home both of the previous years but have been trying to claim for a while now and not able. I think the issue is that before the last 2 years I did a bit of self employed work and registered as such. Now I don't seem to be able to claim the benefit. I have now started a new job which I need to claim uniform washing and reclaim money for the £1,500 I have spent on tools for the job. Do I need to create a new account on the gov website ?

Have you been asked to file a Self Assessment return for 2020:21?0
-
Yes I filed a self assessment for that year.0

Any claims for 2020:21 would have to be included on your Self Assessment return, there is no other way of claiming.
If you made a mistake when completing your 2020:21 return you have until 31 January next year to amend it.0
