JOULES X HILLTOP HONEY TERMS & CONDITIONS

PROMOTER’S NAME AND ADDRESS

The promoters are Joules Limited (company number 02934327) of The Joules Barn, Rockingham Road, Market Harborough, Leicestershire LE16 7QD (“Joules”) and Hilltop Honey Limited (company number 09365028) whose registered office is at Unit 5 Dyffryn Enterprise Park, Pool Road, Newtown, Powys SY16 3BD (“Hilltop Honey”) (together the “Promoters”).

HOW TO PARTICIPATE

This competition is free to enter, no purchase is necessary and there is no charge to register for use of the website.

This competition is open to residents in the UK only aged 18 years or over, except employees of the Promoter, holidaycottages.co.uk, their families, agents or any third party directly associated with administration of the competition.

Internet access and a valid email address are required.

By entering the competition, you confirm that you are eligible to do so and eligible to claim the Prize (as defined below). The Promoter may require you to provide proof that you are eligible to enter the competition.

To take part in this competition, enter the competition online by submitting the online entry form provided on www.joules.com/win during the Competition Period (as defined below), and provide your first name, last name and email address.

Entries through agents or third parties, including entries which are automatically generated by computer; completed by third parties or in bulk; illegible, have been altered, reconstructed, forged or tampered with; photocopies and not originals; or incomplete will not be accepted.

Only one entry per email address is permitted and the first entry submitted by each email address will be accepted to take part in the competition in accordance with these terms and any subsequent entries will be disallowed.

The Promoter reserves the right to disqualify you if your conduct is contrary to the spirit of the competition.

Only entries that have been completed correctly and in full will be entered into the competition. The Promoter will not accept any responsibility for late, lost, delayed or damaged entries and cannot be held responsible for any inability to submit entries as a result of a computer service, systems and/or server failure, error, interruption, defect or delay or any other technical malfunction.

All entrants to this promotion will, during the Promotion Period, be entitled to take advantage of an offer of 20% off full priced items on www.joules.com with the offer code “HONEY20”. The terms and conditions applicable to this offer can be found at https://www.joules.com/promo.

START DATE AND CLOSING DATE

The promotion will run from 9am on 1st February 2022 (“Opening Date”) to 5pm on 30th April 2022 (“Closing Date”) (the “Promotion Period”).

All entries must be submitted through the relevant webpage, www.joules.com/win during the Promotion Period by the Closing Date (or such other date the Promoters may specify). All entries received after the Closing Date will not be accepted and will be automatically disqualified.

The Promoter does not accept liability for network, computer, hardware, software failures or technical failures of any kind, which may restrict or delay you submitting an entry by the Closing Date.

SELECTION OF THE WINNERS

There will be one (1) winner of the Main Prize (as defined below) and one hundred (100) winners of the Runner-Up Prize (as defined below) (the Main Prize and the Runner-Up Prizes together the “Prizes”) (each a “Winner” and together the “Winners”).

The Winners will be randomly selected from all valid entries received during the Promotion Period by PromoVeritas, an independent promotional verification service.

THE PRIZES

The main prize available to be won is:

a. 1 x four-night bed and breakfast family stay for up to 4 people (2 adults and 2 children up to 12 years old) in a standard room at Watergate Bay Hotel, located in Cornwall and 1 x Joules x Pelham suitcase collection (cabin, medium and large (style dependant on availability) (“Main Prize”).

There will be 100 runner-up prizes of a £100 Joules gift card (“Runner-Up Prizes”).

Bookings at Watergate Bay Hotel are subject to availability and the Watergate Bay terms of booking (which are available at https://www.watergatebay.co.uk/terms-of-booking/). Bookings are not available between 23 December 2022 and 2 January 2023. The stay must be completed by 31 December 2023. Subject to availability, the stay will be in a standard room. The room’s maximum occupancy is 2 adults and 2 children (under 12) and includes breakfast. The Main Prize does not include travel, insurance, spending money, food and drink (except breakfast), gratuities, car parking charges, additional excursions and attractions or any other costs of a personal nature. Neither the Promoters nor any provider of any part of the Main Prize will be responsible for any such costs. The Winner must make their own travel arrangements to and from the hotel.

A valid credit or debit card will be required to check in to your room and will be used to guarantee any incidentals such as in-room calls or services.

The Main Prize Winner is solely responsible for any additional charges incurred at the hotel during their stay, including without limitation, costs of meals, drinks, additional nights and services together with related taxes.

The Joules gift card is subject to the Joules terms and conditions applying to gift cards at www.joules.com/promo.

All Prizes are subject to availability and if a prize is no longer available due to circumstances beyond the Promoters control, the Promoters reserve the right to substitute a Prize with another of equivalent or greater monetary value. There is no cash alternative to the Prizes. All Prizes are non-refundable and non-transferable. All Prizes can only be redeemed by the Winner and must not be sold on.

NOTIFICATION OF THE WINNER AND RECEIPT OF THE MAIN PRIZE OR RUNNER UP PRIZE

Each Winner of a Prize will be notified by the email address provided with the promotion entry no later than 5pm on 13th May 2022. Each Winner must confirm that they accept the prize by 5pm on 27th May 2022.

The Prize will be delivered to the Winner’s postal address following successful notification of the Prize. The Promoter will not be responsible for failure to deliver a Prize should a postal address be provided incorrectly.

The Promoter will make all reasonable efforts to contact each Winner. If the Promoter is unable to contact the Winner or the Winner has not provided the Promoter with their address in order for the Promoter to deliver the Prize, then the Promoter reserves the right to select a replacement winner in accordance with clause 15 above.

The Promoter’s decision is final and binding in all respects on entrants and the Promoter will not enter into any further correspondence.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Promoter, its agents, suppliers, distributors, officers, directors, employees and shareholders will not in any circumstances be responsible or liable to compensate the Winner, or to accept any liability for any loss or damage of whatever nature and howsoever arising, or for personal injury or death occurring as a result of your participation in the competition or the Winner taking up the Prize, except where injury or death is caused by the negligence of the Promoter. Your statutory rights are not affected.

All competition entries and any accompanying material submitted to the Promoter will become the property of the Promoter on receipt.

Each Winner’s surname and county of residence can be obtained for a period of one month after the notification date by writing to the Promoter at the address set out above in clause 1 and stating the name and date of the promotion. Winners who do not want their surname and county included on the list of winners referred to above must notify us within a reasonable period of time before the Closing Date. See clause 1 above for our contact details.

DATA PROTECTION

By entering and submitting a competition entry you:

a. agree to be bound by these T&Cs;

b. provided no objection is received and if you are a Winner, agree and hereby consent to allow any member of the Promoter’s group of companies to use your name, details and photographs/videos on any media for advertising and publicity purposes in relation to this competition and for any other reasonable promotional purpose without additional remuneration; and

c. agree that any personal information provided by you with the promotion entry may be held and used by the Promoters, PromoVeritas or any agent appointed to assist with running the promotion by the Promoters, unless your positive consent has been received to opt-in to receive future marketing communications from either Joules or Hilltop Honey.
