What board game?

I want to buy a board game for Christmas.
I've already got the usual suspects - Trivial Pursuit, Monopoly, Scrabble, Scattergories (which we love), Pictionary
There's me, t'other half, DS13 and DSD 16 - anyone got any recommendations?
Cheers ears!

I love Articulate....its great fun, the only downside is that you need at least 4 people to play it. If you like things like Pictionary I'd say you'd probably like Articulate...its a similar concept only without the drawing.0

CRANIUM it's fantastic and we love playing it at christmas, it mixes the usual games but altogether on one board. Charades, General knowledge, pictionary, and making items with play dough.
Hours of fun, I know tesco have it reduced to £9.99 at the moment but not sure if you can get it cheaper else where.
Leigh xxI will save my tesco £1 savings stamps this year! .......so far = £50 (full card#1)
Card #2 £6. I will not be skint at Chistmas this year!
Total £560 -
Not board games as such, but we (DH, DS1-15, DD-10 DS2-6) all love 'Uno' and 'Yahtzee'.0

We played Spot The Intro last week and it was a good laugh but not suitable for anyone under age 14 really.
This year I've bought us Blockbuster and Pass the Bomb which I've heard is really good.

I second Cranium, very good fun and similar to the otherboard games you have so you'll enjoy it.
Another one my family enjoys every Christmas is Scene it. You need to be a film fan though, it comes with a DVD with film clips etc on it and the questions are all about classic films etc. Good fun because there's lots of buzzer rounds to get everyone thoroughly over excited!Total abstinence is so excellent a thing that it cannot be carried to too great an extent. In my passion for it I even carry it so far as to totally abstain from total abstinence itself. Oscar Wilde0 -
I'll cast another vote for Cranium - its hilarious
Articulate is brilliant too - I'll never forget being given clues for Middlesex and guessing Norf**** ...0
