Computer Active Magazine

The diskAshur M2 from UK company iStorage lets you protect your files behind a 7-15 digit PIN, so only you will be able to open them.

When the drive is disconnected, all data is encrypted using AES-XTS 256-bit hardware encryption. You don’t need any software to use it - just plug it into any device with a USB port.

Which company makes diskAshur SSDs?

@BootsMullery I thought I had, but searched and couldn't find original post.

We purchased latest C A magazine today, and the closing date is 1 March, not sure whether this is another comp or same one with extended date.

Will ask board guide to delete.
  • I have just checked the copies of Computeractive, this is in the edition 16th Feb - 1st march so closing date is most likely as shown in the magazine. The previous issue 2- 15 Feb had comp closing date 15th Feb and web page had 8th Feb. Seems the web guys and the mag guys don't talk to each other
2026 prizes - £10 BioSynergy voucher; £200 LovetoShop voucher; Swan retro kitchen electricals [worth about £265]; Revive Active supplements [£60]; Yawn airbed [£80]

    2026 -as of 16/04: Comps 3493: wins 5: value £615
    2025 Comps 12362: wins 10: value £1862
    2024 Comps 13526: wins 13: value £1475

Thanks @Scorpioangel It does become very confusing!

Have amended closing date, hope that helps.

If the closing date on-line is always 1 week before the one in the magazine, could it be that they allow the mag entries an extra week for postal entry or does the mag specify that entries should be online?

Previously entries were by email, but these days are online only.
