Bluestone Mortgage

Hi,
First time posting on anything like this!
We are currently going through the process of applying with Bluestone. We are using Mortgage Thoughts as our broker.
We got our AIP within hours of it being submitted and our full application was submitted 09/02/22, we have since had to provide Jan payslip/bank statements.
Bad credit is on my side not my partners - he has highest score. Mines is due to ex husband taking things out in my name and me only finding out after the separation. Regardless everything has been repaid in full!
Our deposit is coming from the sale of my home and my partners home. My house sale concludes 25th Mar 22 and my partners is still to be marketed. The house we reserved isnt due to be completed until July 22. Our broker is advising us that the lender wont issue a mortgage offer until my partners house is sold! We dont want to be in a position that an offer is made and accepted on his house and then we arent approved for the mortgage, therfore leaving us (with two small children) homeless! Has anyone else had this as I work in legal (property) and people get mortgage offers without there house being on the market given you can provide there is equity, which we can. He has £70k on his mortgage left and his HR value is £210k with offers expected at £220 plus. So plenty. My house sold for £205k and my mortgage is £111k again plenty. We are putting £175k down and new house is £469k
Sorry for the long thread!
