Suppliers, batteries and inverters

Options
Our roof is south facing,   in Hertfordshire, with no shading.  We currently use 5500 kWh of electricity a year, home all day, do a lot of baking etc, but no EV.
We  have quotes from Eon for 12 360W panels, string inverters and 5.2 kWh battery for £9630 or 8.2 kWh battery for £10381.
We also have a quote from The Solar People for 12x385W panels (4.6 kWh), with Enphase micro inverters  and 2x2.6 batteries at £10342.
We have discounted Project Solar, as they only offered an 8 panel package.
Any advice on suppliers - Eon have a longer lead time, so we could miss some sunshine.
String inverters or microinverters?
Smaller or bigger batteries?
Thank you!

Micro inverters or optimisers could be considered it you have shading issues. The most cost effective are Tigo optimisers.

If you can't afford to have it all now. I would be inclined to max out what is on the roof. Batteries are easier to add later.

If you go for the smaller battrry, which I presume is a Pylon then you can add extra batteries yourself easily at a later date.

Contact Solar and Eco Renewables are both with a look.
