Hi
Is there anyone who has come out of BR but still can't get even simple credit like Klarna instalment payments?
I've only checked my Experian credit file and its clean, or do I need to check all credit reference agencies to make sure the others follow suit?
Thanks

How long ago was the bankruptcy? You are likely to have issues for 6 years after it.1

Hello
It was 20130 -
That's a long time ago. I would check the information on all the credit agencies...something wrong somewhere1

The inability to get credit may not have anything to do with the bankruptcy at all. Worth checking to see if you have any other adverse credit reported, or anything in national hunter.
Its also possible that your affordability isn't deemed good enough, lenders have recently had to give out big payment holidays due to covid, this may mean they are erring on side of caution more than in the past1 -

ThanksI'd ignore Klarna as a litmus test.I own my own house, have significant savings, an exceptional credit record according to Experian and Trans Union).I applied for a Klarna to buy an iMac (I had reasons for doing this - potential new business idea) and was turned down flat. I was lucky to have the cash to buy it outright anyway or could have thrown it on a 0% credit card, but it did seem a little odd.0
