I had an application done on the 2nd Feb and an offer by the 11th via a broker.
  • They were really quick for us, application went in on Wednesday 26th January and the offer was issued on Monday 31st.

I applied with Barclays through a broker for a new build and this was my timeline:
    Application - 07/02/22
    Valuation -
    18/02/22
    Offer -
    28/02/22

Valuation took a while as barclays had to instruct a surveyor to value the new build, apparently they just visited the sales office
Also, in my case the surveyor took a few days to submit the report to barclays
