Removing a charge from my property

Approximately 10 years ago my son in law helped us out by putting a 90k charge on our house to avoid credit card companies chasing us - he did not give us 90k it was just a charge which we had a solicitor to oversee.
We now want this removing and my son in law has agreed to sign the forms but we do not know which ones we need.

The HMRC is so complicated with all the forms

I think you're on the wrong board, try the Land Registry thread in the 'House Buying, Renting & Selling' board.

I’ve moved your post to the housing board. Hopefully some people with knowledge of this area can help you.

Nothing to do with HMRC. I don't quite follow how or why the charge prevented cc companies chasing you if you did not receive the £90K, but.....
    I believe you need
but the Land Registry Rep will hopefuly confirm for you.

Forms DS1 and DS2 plus identity verification ID1 or ID3 - suggest son in law does it all so only he has to have identity verified

At a guess - to make it look like the OP did not have the full house value as an asset for the CC companies to go after when trying to collect the debt.
