From today Heelys £29.99 in store (Sports World it's called in Hull).

They said they were getting a huge delivery and although the offer didn't start until today they honoured the price at £29.99 yesterday for me when I explained they were that price on the internet .

Unfortunately not got a Smyths near us either so I'm happy at that price.;)

I think that is a thoroughly disgusting comment to make. You should not tar everyone with the same brush. I am NOT chav scum as you put it & my daughter is most definately NOT ugly....but your comment is.

You ought to be ashamed of yourself!

I agree that they should be banned in supermarkets and other public places. No doubt you'd be annoyed if a kid was using a skateboard, roller skates or a bike in a supermarket, zooming past and banging into you or making you think they are going to bump into you before just turning. If I think a kid is going to bump into me, rather than moving out of the way I often put my shopping basket or trolley in the way instead.

NOTE I did not complain about the heelies themselves but the assumption that all parents are chavs with ugly offspring. That is a very offensive comment to make & shouldn't be ignored.

I did not say all parents are Chavs only those who allow their children to wizz around supermarkets on these things.

Are you an irresponsible type who allows your kids to behave in such a dangerous antisocial way ?

I've never seen an incident occur with these heelies, but it doesn't take Einstein to recognise that wheeling yourself around might cause an accident.

I also wonder what it is doing for children's muscular structure putting their feet in the required position for long periods of time.

So if I remove the word ALL from my quote it makes no difference as your quote can/will be taken either way, depending whether you are the poster or reader of said post. Clearly your opinion is elaborated upon within the thread you linked BUT you offered no assistance with actually finding anything money saving regarding Heelys so your post was not really relevant. Had people wanted your personal opinion they would have found it by searching although as it was unhelpful to their cause it again would have been classed as irrelevant.

Lets keep this on topic. Other than NOT buying them do you have a MS link to a better deal?

my daughter broke her wrist when using hers. BUT it could've happened when she was just walking down the street. I explained this to everyone who went mad when i said she could carry on using them. She was walking across the road and was too busy looking for trafic to look where her feet were and fell over something in the road!! lol Luckily there wasnt any cars coming.
