morning everyone long time no post!
    how is everyone?
I haven't been able to get on here much cos of being so busy at work came in today early as I was expecting loads of work with new cards and diaries coming in but nothing has arrived!
very tired too as ds2 (2) was at hospital twice last night as he has a pulled elbow (which means his elbow comes out of it's socket and has to be put back in) & it happened twice in a row yesterday!

  • Morning............yawn......dull and grey out there and very 'still'. I live on a quiet road anyway but today seems particularly like I'm the only one at home.

Well, the new hairdo went out for dinner!! And, I have to say, it was a nice night (and OH insisted on paying!!). Even the OH said it was sod's law that the table next to us was a group of 12 blokes on the Christmas outing. They weren't raucous or anything, but, well, if you think women can prattle on, you ain't heard nothing until you've heard 12 blokes!! So funny when the food arrived and there was a lull in the talking!! I was very impressed though that the majority weren't drinking - most had water or pints of coke - good to see, maybe the drink driving messages are finally getting through.

Ate LOADS.......oh, blimey, we definitely had our £12 worth!!

Just gave a bloke on the phone an earful. It started -

Indian chap 'hello - Mrs Keren?' (ie my first name not my surname)
Me: 'this is a TPS registered number'
    Indian chap: 'so?'
Me:'you're going to tell me my mortgage payment are too high and that you have a fantastic loan you want to sell me'
Indian chap: .........long pause........'hello, Mrs Keren?'
Me: This is a TPS registered number and it's illegal for you to call me
    Indian chap:'hhmm?'
    Me: It..........is.............illegal.........for.......you.........to.....

    Phone goes dead.....

Jobs day in the paper. Can't see there being loads as it is so close to Christmas but you never know.

Are you looking or just browing Keren?

Glad your new hair had its outing...was your OH appreciative of the effort you put into going out together?
