Additional dwelling tax- Scotland

Hello, i recently bought a second property where i paid the additional dwelling tax on top of the usual stamp duty.
Circumstances have changed and i may have to look at selling the most recent property i purchased and stay in my main residence - can i claim back the additional dwelling tax as it all seems to be weighted to selling the original property and nothing about selling the additional property.

It can't be claimed back, it's an additional tax for buying a second home and not selling your first one.Mortgage started 2020, aiming to clear 31/12/2029.1
