Any successes or failure? Which agency did you use or did you sell direct to the papers?

What sorts of thing are they interested in except "love rats"?

It's a massively broad area. Better to post your story and people can advise.

But in general terms, you'll get nothing, unless there's some significant angle, eg sone celebrity or political significance. You'll get nothing for your 'love rat' story apart from 30 seconds of 'fame'.
