Hi does anybody know how to get a vehicle plate excluded from the rotherhithe as the van I drive is so small that it is inside the sizes and weight . They issue PCN's and will cancel them once you go though the process , however as a 6 day user that need to use it 6 days a week currently going around via Tower bridge and blackwall to avoid
TheTFL only have general advice numbers with operators that just send 1 aroung the phone lines constantly as they have no idea on it and upon searchin on google they dosnt seem to be an advice on how to get in touch with an official about it. If can anybody can hep ?

What does the van's V5 say? Is there an error there which TFL then pick up on the tunnels ANPR?0

They just charge and make people appeal - If people don't appeal its easy money for the borough council

What does the V5 say, is there an error with the registration of the vehicle GVW?

No error, theres a lot of money been made from things like this unless I'm very much mistaken so they will make it very hard to find answers and indeed impossible in some case unless an independent regulator can force councils etc to make changes, stop gross misconduct. If I was to drive the van through 6 days a week for work and return journey = 12*90 reduced if pay upon appeal thats £1080 a week; you can be sure someone would be noticing that kind of money and make its extremely hard to find a way to have your vehicle opted out so they I am suspecting just blanket charging anything that looks like a van - if no one appeals its easy money - lots of very easy money0

So the DVLA has the right data but you are still getting charged?0

Am certainly charged although as I am forced to drive around to Tower bridge polluting the air currently so not using Rotherhithe now as it costs a lot of money and time appealing which is why I am try to find some personnel to remove the van reg plate from been automatically charged
