Airline passengers on domestic flights within the UK could be compensated if their trip is delayed by just one hour under sweeping new proposals put forward by the Government.

The proposals are likely to cost a lot less as the idea is to refund percentages of the fare paid. Ryanair refunding £10 instead of hundreds as at present is a much better deal for airlines than passengers.
