Can being employed by a foreign employer affect mortgage application?

My partner has been offered a job working remotely for a danish company, if he accepts will that affect our likelihood of getting approved for a mortgage? We’d be looking to apply as soon as his passes probation

If the employment contract isoverseas, and the pay is not in GBP then yes, it can affect things.
If on the other hand he's employed by Danske Bank London (for example) on a local contraact paid in GBP, but is being asked to work from his home in the UK as they are not yet back working in their offices then no, that's not going to affect things.0
