Unsecured loan from Northern Rock

Options
Hello, this is my first time posting on here, I'm desperate for some sound financial advice!

I have a debt of approx £25k. It is an unsecured loan taken in the days of Northern Rock 125% mortgages. I pay approx £245 per month to pay this off and the remaining balance is around £25000. Does anyone have any ideas of the best way to get rid of this debt? I have no additional funds that I can put towards it each month and I can't really sell anything to help to pay it off.

Many thanks.

Having read your other post, I see you were advised to come here and post your SOA.

Well the link is here -

    SOA Calculator (stoozing.com)

However, all we can do is point out were savings can be made, so that the debt can be paid off quicker.

You ask "Does anyone have any ideas of the best way to get rid of this debt ?"

Well its an unsecured, non priority debt, but its not going to just go away, you can just stop paying it, if its unaffordable, allow the debt to default, and be sold on, then arrange more affordable terms, save an emergency fund that will allow you to make a full and final offer on the debt in due course.

There are a number of options open to you, but an SOA is the best starting point.
