            It may depend on exactly which SMETS 1 meter you have. The ones that EDF were pushing back then were capable of measuring export, but were not calibrated for that, so the readings could not be used.
 If it sticks, force it.
 If it breaks, well it wasn't working right anyway.2

 @MadAsToast How did you get on with this in the end? I'm having the exact same issue now (E470 SMETS1 with no export reading available).MadAsToast said:

 @mcpete86 apologies just saw your reply. The export reading shows up once exporting started. Also the key was to press and hold the button to show it not just press it quickly, hthmcpete86 said:
