Hi we are now heading for the finish post for our mortgage to be paid off in September 2022 along with 2 other loans ending in August 2022
Currently we are paying back all three with The Nationwide the following
£119.44 for towards the closing balance of £1065.39 (Basic Mortgage Rate Capital Repayment Mortgage repaid September 2022)
£492.3 towards a closing balance of £3934.12 (2.034% 3 year fixed rate which expires 28th February 2022 agreed repayment date August 2022)
£201.09 towards a closing balance of £1510.02 (1.64% capital repayment mortgage agreed repayment date August 2022) 2 year fixed rate expires on Feb 2022.
So our question is is there any tips or advice on what we should do or be aware of as we head to the last 8 months in regard to saving some money and time finishing payments earlier or staying as we are especially as 2 of the payments have their fixed term rates ending in February.
Thank your taking the time to read this post and for any replies you may give.

With Nationwide can you switch to a new fix now you're so close to the end of the existing one? Obviously you won't see out the length of the fix but the Nationwide systems don't seem to care about that and it would then make sure your rate is fixed for the next 8 months to make the most of your repayments. It will probably be even lower than your current rate too as currently shows as 1.49%! All can be done online so really easy switchRemember the saying: if it looks too good to be true it almost certainly is.0
