My bedroom had ice on the inside of the window this morning because it’s not double glazed. And that’s with the central heating on low, not turned off overnight.All shall be well, and all shall be well, and all manner of things shall be well.
Pedant alert - it's could have, not could of.9 -

I mainly look for things for my daughter. £3 for a plain pair of leggings. I can get a set of 3 brand new from Asda for £6/7. Even tops are £4-£4.50 each, again I can get a 3 pack for less than a tenner. Toys seem to be all over the place. I got some puzzles from one 75p and 99p each. A similar puzzle in another charity shop was £2.492021 Decluttering Awards: ⭐⭐🥇🥇🥇🥇🥇🥇 2022 Decluttering Awards: 🥇

It’s so cold I have the kids wrapped up in bed and extra blankets on. It hit 11 degrees at 11pm and I have put the heating on for 20mins to try and boost the house for overnight before the heating comes on at 6am 😐 … I can’t do much more to keep us warm. It’s -3 outside and bitterly cold up here.Living the simple life11

Quick update to the heating situation;
We'd left the heating on 15 degrees to come on for an hour twice a day, got home just after 10am to find the thermostat not even registering 8 degrees even though it felt warm. Finally managed to get the house up to around 18 and turned the heating off now.
I fell this morning on the walk from the station to home and have a really painful shoulder. Everything moves as it should, but please stay safe out there. I'm officially known by OH as 'Sliderman' today.💙💛 💔10 -
Returning to the pud discussion - I'm always late to the party - I love custard but I also use natural yoghurt a lot. I think it is delicious with most of them. . . even custard and yogurt. Or yoghurt and ice cream. Or yoghurt, custard and ice cream.9

When I was a little girl we would travel up to Glasgow to one of my aunts and I would sleep in the tiny 'hole in the wall' bed that was in the kitchen next to the range, and was always toasty and warm.
It was like a small bunk bed built into the wall of the kitchen and I would drift off to sleep listening to my Mum and Aunt chatting away in the kitchen There was a small pair of curtains that were closed when I was put to bed and it was a fabulous place to sleep in the cold winter time, wrapped in my winceyette PJs.:) and a tiny hot water bottle on my feet.the matrees was a feather one and there were a couple of thick tartan blankets tucked around me as well I was never cold when I slept there16 -
