@Auti yes I find they are fine , I freeze lots of things. I tend to eat mince pies warm with a blob of cream so give them a quick 15 sec in microwave once defrosted anyway.
@Elisheba ,I have had mince pies for my grandson (with gluten in) in the freezer over a year and he hasn’t complained !

Mince pies freeze perfectly 
had some 'raw' ones in there for many many months.

Today, again, big reduction in Aldi!- all of 10 pence off on mince pies that are out of date by November 30th!!
Now if they had been a give away price then some would certainly have been in my basket / trolley.

Thanks for this, the foam is only temporary, waiting on the builder to send his brickie to rebuild the back wall. I'm hoping they don't discover the water softener or waste pipe from the shower room which passes through the garage wall.

Didn't get anything in the traps last night. Will re-bait with chocolate as well as peanut butter and move them to different positions tonight. The mouse we caught yesterday was on the shelf right where the food source had been removed from.

Rodents tend to run along the same runs, usually close to a wall.  Place your traps close to the walls.

Sprinkle some flour around where you think they might be. Their footprints will tell you where to put the traps 🙂

Trouble is there's so much 'stuff' in there with the building work going on, it's hard to get close to the walls. There's poo all over the racking, they've been going all over the place. Have shifted a couple of the traps, but until the builders get their stuff out, it's going to be hard to find the best slots to trap them.

Even with the builders stuff gone, we have loads of our own things in there.

You definitely can, but they are not the same so eat and enjoy whilst they are in date.

I had a large Tesco bakery lattice mince pie this evening, fresh and delicious. YS to 22p each and at that price worth it.
