Just managed to get 6 spray deodorants for £2 on a facebook bargain page so they are coming on thursday and will go under my sink in my extras cupboard for the bathroom etc. Its a unisex one too so all of us in the house can use it. I need to find a bathroom under sink storage thing so I can start putting things in there and not taking up space underneath my kitchen sink.
These might help? They have drawer ones as well, were out on Thursday so probably still in store if they interest you"You've been reading SOS when it's just your clock reading 5:05 "6 -

I've just managed to get a heated throw of FB marketplace. Been looking out for one for a few weeks now and someone was selling one still in it's box for £15. rrp is £49.99 on Amazon. Really pleased with that. Should pay for itself this winter!#39 - Save £12k in 20259

Afternoon all
Well its been quiet here. I had a quick freshen up and reclaiming of the hosue yesterday now that both kids are back in school and husband is in work so that was me yesterday and today I am bored but I think I might have a chilled afternoon and get some crafting done.
Harvested some cucumbers yesterday so I need to get those sorted. Keep meaning to get outside and sort some space for winter growing and strip the hedge cuttings to make leaf mulch and get the sticks drying to use in a firepit or small bbq but the weather has other ideas at the minute here in Wales!
I am currently sat in leggings, strappy top and my fluffy winter socks though and I feel lovely and cosy.
I am now at the point that I have the bare minimum on in the house when no one else is here. The only thing on at the minute is the lizards lights, the freezer and the fridge freezer. I'm hoping I can keep it this way for as long as possible.
I sat down last night though and made a list of things that I want to get before winter really kicks in and realised I was actually using a useful tool at the time.
I brought this a while ago as where my crafting desk is in in a dark corner and I wanted a little light that I could use and work with. I brought it for £9.99 on a discount page but I really think it is worth it. It is USB chargeable and I charged it once when I got it in April and it was only last night that it started to dim and the battery show signs of needing recharging. Once it is charged it can be unplugged and moved around to wherever it is needed. Its got 3 brightness settings as well and a phone holder.

So I think I will be investing in a few more of these. Maybe one for each of the kids bedrooms so that in case of a blackout at least I know we will all have a light and they can either be spread throughout the house or they can stay in their rooms and read/draw/play games etc.
Im also looking at some kind of rocket stove / kelly kettle.
Think I might invest in a teapot and a decent thermos flask too.
But for now I am off to sort the sock basket and bags and see what pairs I have and anything thats mismatched / broken etc is going o be used as draught excluder stuffing!Time to find me again10 -
