CT Clamp question

If I already have an iboost for hot water, and I want to install a Zappi solar car charger, does it matter that it also uses a CT clamp to calculate energy?

The installation instructions usually tell you to put CT clamps a reasonable distance apart, so they don't interfere with one another.I think I've got five installed in my meter cupboard, for various reasons; three on the meter tails and two on the solar PV feed. I have both. I get the impression that whichever device first sees the surplus energy it will take it. Ct clamps are generally happy close together, but I like to keep them separated by a few cm's, putting tie wraps round the cable and leaving the tail on will stop the ct clamp sliding by itWest central Scotland

No problems having clamps close together. For compatibility the Zappi requires an extra ct clamp to measure and account for diverters and/or AC battery charging and thus you can prioritise car charging over boost diverters/chargers in times of excess generation. Full details in the manual supplied at installation or via tgat on the Myenergi website. That's how my system works....very well.0
