in Cutting tax
Hi,
I'm trying to complete an online tax return, and I am employed but also am earning a little "side hustle" which I need to declare, since it's over £1000.
I have registerd as self-employed and am now filling in the online form.
It's asking me for how much I earned from self-employment, so I have entered it.
It then asks me for "any other business income", and I have put my income from employment in this box. Is this correct? Have I done it right?
At first I left it blank but then I got an error.
I can't see anywhere else where it asks me how much I earned "from employment", is this because HMRC already know the answer to that?
I've attached a screenshot for clarity.
