Mobility scooter lock

Hello,  I was wondering if anyone could recommend a good  sercure lock for a mobility scooter.  The scooter is worth nearly £2k and the reviews I am reading about locks are awful.  I will only be using the lock for around an hour a week  (during the middle of the day) when I attend a group with no disabled access (stairs up to the doors so cannot even leave scooter inside).   The scooter has a key ignition but is very easy to roll away without the key.  I am insured but I would like to be able to get home after the group!  Any recommendations would be amazing.  

Also the only thing I could attach the scooter to outside the building would be a flag pole which always flies the union jack (the building is a British Legion branch).  Anyone know if it is disrespectful to attach anything to a flag pole?  I really have no idea!  Thank you.

Just look at bike locks with an appropriate level of sold secure guarantee (thee is a new top tier of diamond) - any chain lock should do a scooter fine if if has something secure to get the lock/chain too

I wouldn't fix something to a flag pole personally

What are the options for connecting the chain to the scooter? M'bike looks go through the spokes. mobility scooter wheels are a lot smaller so might not have space for a chunky chain to pass through.
