Self assessment - paying NI

in Cutting tax
Have just completed my 20-21 Self assessment. At the end it states I have 'no tax to pay' but on my self assessment it says I owe class 2 and class 4 NI. So I have paid the amount totalling both class 2 and class 4 NI through the HMRC paying system. I have received an email receipt from HMRC acknowledging this. However how do I know that money will be correctly transferred to cover my NI contributions. I'm worried the fact it says I owe no tax on my self assessment that it won't get placed to the correct NI contribution.
Any help would be greatly appreciated

You can check this on your Personal Tax Account as this has a NI contributions section
You will need to allow some time for the Self Assessment info to update the NI position but it should happen automatically in due course.0
