Oh actually, that can't be a thing. I have seen the odd tax code on my p60.
If you could advise the figures from the P60 (gross Tax ) this might throw some light on the tax code used.
Have you checked your personal tax account for the reason for code used.

The Op said that 'due to circumstances' they had to move out of the property into rented - it;s not clear exactly when this happened though.
