Made.com - your experience

I’ve seen some nice looking items at made.com, but the reviews/ratings on Trustpilot are really shocking (below 2/5 on average). I’m really torn - Trustpilot usually seem quite reliable, but if made.com are really as terrible as the reviews suggest, I doubt they’d still be in business.
Any views, experiences or pointers to more objective review sites appreciated. Or, if their products and customer service really are that bad, good to know too!

Bought a few things over the years from them, no problems whatsoever.

I have bought several things from them - two lamps, dining table and benches and a full set of bedroom furniture. The quality was excellent, especially liked that the bedroom chest of draws and side table were already assembled. I guess on some of the items there was a long lead-time, but it mostly does say that at point of order, I would recommend them!

I bought a crockery set of 12 dinner plates, side plates and bowls. The quality of these were very poor and the plates crumbled around the rim and chipped at the slightest touch. The glaze also came off the bowls showing scrapes within weeks. I will now need to buy an entirely new set within 6 months of purchase. Made will not engage with us on this though as replacements need to be within one month of purchase, which is way too short a period for a set costing this much. I would not buy from them again due to this quality and poor customer service.
