Changing tax code leads to tax payments

Good afternoon,
Year after year my tax code changes and leads to additional tax payments to HMRC. This has been going on for years and I do not understand why HMRC keep changing the tax code (same job at same firm). Anyone who has experienced the same? Anything that could be done at all to avoid the yearly additional payments?
Thank you

What is it changing to and from? And what does it say on your tax account or notice of coding they send in the post? It should show how it's calculated

Last tax year for example what were the different tax codes issued.
Did you get an advice of these and what did it say.
What were you P60 details for gross tax tax code
Do you get any taxable benefits0 -
Tax codes can change for countless reasons.
If you tell us what the old code was and what was included in it and the same for the new tax code it should be possible to get to the bottom of what's happening.0
